Making Financial Education Concepts Stick: Putting Learning Into Practice Webinar

What:
The FDIC along with the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education are partnering to host a webinar Making Financial Education Concepts Stick: Putting Learning into Practice. The webinar will inform educators and bankers and about ways that banks and schools can work together to improve the financial skills and experiences of youth. The event will include a panel discussion with bankers that partnering with schools around youth savings programs. A second panel will focus on other proven strategies to enhance youth financial education activities, such as virtual simulation programs and in-person reality fairs. Finally, participants will learn about the FDIC Youth Banking Network, which provides opportunities for banks, working to connect financial education to savings accounts for school-aged children, to learn from one another and FDIC staff.
