Parenting is a lot different — and a lot more complicated — than it used to be. After all, parents of the 70’s and 80’s didn’t have to decide when it is appropriate to let their kids have their own private telephone. They were also able to raise kids without the influence of the internet, let alone social media platforms like Instagram.
Parents could also get by without having to get their kids any sort of debit card. As kids, we hardly went anywhere anyway, and we certainly didn’t need a card to pay for online purchases.
