Governor Murphy and New Jersey Department of Education Announce Certification Fee Holiday to Support Educators

In response to recommendations from the Governor’s Task Force on Public School Shortages, Governor Phil Murphy and the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) today (7/3) announced that Governor Murphy’s budget dedicates $5 million to implement an Educator Certification Fee Holiday. Effective immediately, this initiative aims to alleviate financial burden and streamline the certification process for aspiring educators across the state.
