Legislative Update
Executive Actions:
May 17: Governor Murphy signed an Executive Order eliminating mask requirement in outdoor public spaces.
The Governor announced that NJ public schools will be required to provide full-time, in-person instruction beginning in the fall of 2021.
The Governor announced the lifting of New Jersey’s travel advisory. Effective immediately, the travel advisory is no longer in place for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.
May 19: Governor Murphy announced new incentives to encourage COVID-19 Vaccinations.
Activity Scheduled in NJ Legislature during week of May 24 to 28.
There are no voting sessions or committee meetings scheduled for the legislature this week.

A-850: Establishes ‘Community Broadband Study Commission. May 20, 2021, passed by the Assembly. Next action: consideration by Senate Committee.
