Smyrna High School Students Teach Financial Literacy to Poplar Hill Elementary Fifth Graders

Eighteen Smyrna High seniors taught the Poplar Hill Elementary fifth graders about personal finance through questions, stories, quizzes and games at a program at the elementary school on April 8.

The high school students taught about compound interest, savings, opportunity costs, bank accounts, investing and other financial tools.
