As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to afflict our state and nation, NJCFE wants to pay special tribute to the men and women of both the NJ State Troopers Fraternal Association (STFA) and the Health Professionals and Allied Employees (HPAE) on the establishment of a donation drive to collect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for First Responders and Health Care Professionals.

These dedicated public servants are on the front lines of maintaining order and public safety as well as providing treatment and care of patients during this crisis. The men and women of these organizations are among those who at great personal risk arein direct contact with those who have been infected with the COVID-19 virus.

STFA and the HPAE, with over 15,000 rank and file members, have united to form a procurement drive to collect and provide their first responder members with items needed to appropriately protect them as they confront this pandemic.

The items that the organizations continue to collect include N95 masks, latex gloves, gowns, face shields, antibacterial wipes andhand sanitizers. 

Not only are the articles in use now but they need to be stockpiled to meet demands in future emergencies.

NJCFE members are urged to support this joint STFA/HPAE effort by contributing the needed items and dropping them off at the following collection point between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday:
