Executive Actions:
Governor Murphy announced he will name Shawn LaTourette Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection. LaTourette has been serving as Acting Commissioner. His appointment awaits NJ Senate Approval.
April 12: Governor Murphy Signed A5446 Providing $15 Million in Aid to Small Businesses and Nonprofits.
April 15: Governor Murphy Signed Executive Order No. 235 Extending Public Health Emergency in New Jersey.
Legislative Schedule during week of April 19 thru 23
April 19: Assembly Budget Committee all day hearings from state departments and agencies.
April 21: Senate Environment & Energy Committee to take testimony on forest stewardship and prescribed burning.
April 22: Senate Budget & Appropriations Committee all day hearings from state departments and agencies.
