The universal statewide mask mandate for schools and childcare settings will be lifted effective Monday, March 7^th.

• Includes all students, educators, staff, and visitors.
• The Governor is not removing the ability of individual district leaders to maintain and enforce such a policy within their schools or any private childcare provider from maintaining such a policy within their business should community conditions require.
• The Department of Health will be developing and releasing guidance on safety while our schools work to unmask.

The Legislature: 

The Senate and Assembly have scheduled voting sessions for Monday PM 

Assembly Committees slated to meet Monday:

Assembly Homeland Security and State Preparedness; Human Services; 

Law and Public Safety; Agriculture and Food Security; and Judiciary.
