Imagine a game where 11-year-olds can log onto a computer and learn about different career paths, what taxes are for, how to budget their income and how to invest in stocks long before they ever start handling real money of their own.

Welcome to Fintropolis — a Minecraft world where middle-school-aged children learn financial literacy early. It was created by Keishon Smith, who attended David C. Hinson Middle School and graduated from Seabreeze High in 2014, along with a team at Ally Financial.
