NJCU to Host State Senator Angela McKnight for Discussion on Financial Literacy in Early Childhood

New Jersey City University (NJCU) will host “Why Teach Kids About Money Early,” a community discussion on financial literacy in early childhood featuring New Jersey State Senator Angela McKnight. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4-5 p.m. in the Gothic Lounge located in Hepburn Hall Room 202 on campus.

The discussion, sponsored by the Deborah Cannon Partridge Wolfe College of Education, will bring together policymakers, educators, nonprofit leaders, parents, and community experts to explore how early financial education can empower young learners to develop confidence, responsibility, and independence.
