July 23, 2026 | njbec.org
Dear Community Partner,
On behalf of the New Jersey Black Empowerment Coalition (NJBEC), we are pleased to invite your organization to partner with us by helping promote our upcoming Financial Empowerment Workshop Series, a free community initiative focused on providing individuals and families with the knowledge and resources needed to achieve greater financial stability and long-term economic success.
NJBEC is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing civic engagement, expanding opportunity, and strengthening communities throughout New Jersey. We believe that strong partnerships are essential to creating lasting impact, and we value the important role your organization plays in serving our communities.
Our Financial Empowerment Workshop Series is designed to equip participants with practical financial knowledge and connect them with trusted professionals and community resources. Workshop topics will include budgeting, saving, credit improvement, banking relationships, homeownership, fraud prevention, and building generational wealth.
The workshops will be held at Essex County College, Siegler Hall, on the following dates:
-
Thursday, August 6, 2026 (from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM)
-
Thursday, September 24, 2026 (from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM)
-
Friday, October 30, 2026 (from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM)
We invite you, your staff, members, clients, and network to participate in these workshops and to help us spread the word throughout the community. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in sharing this opportunity through your newsletters, email lists, social media platforms, websites, and other communication channels.
Together, we can expand access to financial education, empower families to make informed financial decisions, and strengthen the economic well-being of our communities.
Thank you for your continued leadership and commitment to serving the people of New Jersey. We look forward to partnering with you on this important initiative.
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Jane Collins-Colding
