Tough economic times can result in individuals and families living on the financial edge.  Topics covered in this 60-minute webinar include a description of the “financial edge” and how people get there by being pushed or pulled; the concept of living “paycheck to paycheck;” low U.S. savings rates; strategies to deal with unemployment; public health insurance; food assistance; energy assistance; telephone assistance; wage garnishment, foreclosure, credit counseling; individual development accounts (IDAs); disaster assistance; and frauds and scams

Mark your calendars! The New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education (NJCFE), in conjunction with the New Jersey Credit Union League, and other partner organizations is pleased to announce our annual spring Conference, Financial Literacy Assessment: Teachers Teaching Teachers (T3).

T3 will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thanks to the generosity of Lincoln Investment, who provided the location, this years event will take place at 8000 Sagemore Drive, Suite 8301, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Participants will be awarded (4) Professional Development hours.
